Barko was the vice captain of the Imperial Knights of the Jioral Kingdom.
Personality[]
Barko has a strong sense of loyalty toward his superior Renard, alleging the latter had taken him in despite having little redeemable qualities. As a result, he ultimately turns on Flare (unaware of her brainwashing) due to her allying with Keyaru, Renard's killer.
Plot[]
Due to Flare's sudden return, Barko interrupts the executions at the coliseum to announce that the villagers were not involved with any cult and that they were innocent. Once they are behind closed doors however, he reveals he is unable to trust Keyaru for killing his superior, and turns his blade on Flare. Not long into the fight, he is killed when Flare unleashes a volley of ice shards at him.
